The Arizona Young Authors’ Conference Celebrates Young Writers 

For teams of 6 students and a teacher from grades 1-6 
*Students will hear a keynote presentation by Nancy Bo Flood
and share their written work with other students.
*Includes breakout sessions with authors/writers/illustrators.
*Students may purchase signed books.

*Students will receive writing supplies and have a rich experience with others who like to write.

*Student should bring a finished piece of writing from the 2016-2017 school year to share.
*Students in grades 1-6 are eligible.

A registration fee of $200 is for six students and one adult and includes lunch.

Writing for AYAC provides young writers with an opportunity to use Core Writing Standards for developing published pieces.

This activity will help them meet Arizona Standards for Writing.

Suggestions for possible funding include: PTA, PTO, Tax Credit Funds, Grants, Student Council, an organization or business sponsorship.

Facilities provided by Legacy Traditional School.
Conference is sponsored by Central Arizona Reading Council.

Space is limited and our goal is to provide an opportunity for as many students as possible.

***A $25 cancellation fee will be assessed if a cancellation request is received prior to February 20, 2017.

***No refunds will be given after February 20, 2017
